Sleep Alarm is like a nap alarm. You set the amount of time and after it gets to zero, it alarms.

After the alarm is finished, the songs stop; just wait a couple seconds.

Nice, that Alarm app is so much better than the one I coded about a year ago. I'd like to see multiple alarms, though. I was planning on putting them into my next version, but I feel like even with multiple alarms mine is far inferior in terms of usability.

I noticed a glitch in the snowball app
if you finish level 1-25 when you touch the 7th star it will shut down the app and you will be put back to level 21

Notepad app? Am I the only one that wants this? It could be as simple as the stopwatch/alarm clock app, but would allow me to jot down all of those things I think about and don't have a pen and paper nearby. My Zune goes practically everywhere I go and that's the one app that I would really put to use...

Hey cool! I wasn't waiting long enough. After a few seconds of hearing the alarm I figured that was all it did and turned it off. But, you are right, after 5 or 10 seconds of alarming, it stopped the song.

Gives enough time to reset the alarm for another round or have it turn off if you are already asleep.

Saweet! This will be very good for podcast and audio books that I listen to in bed and something I have always wished the Zune did.

Thanks!

Nope! I'm also super excited about it. I wish it had audio clips or could generate the sounds of the chords so you could actually hear them... That would have put it over the top. But regardless, for me it's going to end up being one of the most used utilities so far.

I'm excited about the alarm clock too. Looking forward to using that as well. Thanks Microsoft & Zune Team!

Since I often play guitar by ear, I think I'd prefer an app where you press the string/frets you're playing and it tells you what chord you discovered... But this is nice too.

Glad to hear there is generally positive feedback on these latest apps. For those following at home, the Alarm Clock app was developed by a Microsoft employee as part of our employee development program I've talked about on the Zune Insider podcast. Chord Finder was too, and Snowball came from an outside game studio.

Oh, and for some really juicy insider info, I designed the icon artwork for Alarm Clock. Be impressed, people.

Cheers, Dave.
