I own the EP630's too so I can't wait to hear the VB's. I recently got $50 from my mom for my birthday, and my wife and I just got a $1000 refund on our taxes so I figured this will be the best time to get em.

$80 was hard enough to convince the wife that I wanted them! She said "didn't you just get a pair a few months ago?" (I got some CX-300's) lol - I said "yeah but these are what I've been wanting for a long time now and I didn't buy myself a birthday present yet". So only $30 of our tax return wasn't too hard to get her to agree with.

Guys, the VBs are awesome - you will be so happy with them...i swear if you aren't blown away by the bass and the overall quality of the sound, I will eat a pair of Sony Hybrid tips...

lol I thought you were just making it up.

Since you mentioned the hybrids and own the VB's do you know if typical silicone tips will fit the VB's or do I need different sized tips such as the hybrids?

Is that official info? When did you order your VBs? I'm waiting for mine for a while, but they didn't update me on the manufacturing status of the VBs.

Machiventa, any common dynamic driver IEM tip will fit the VB with its ~5mm diameter nozzle - Sennheiser, Head-Direct, Panasonic, etc, etc. The Sony Hybrids and the Super.Fi tips are the best, though. At least in my (and many others) opinion.

I accidentally bought the sony hybrids last year thinking they would fit my CX-300's so I'm already set!! The thing is I can't remember where I put em lol.

The Hybrids won't fit easily, but with a tiny drop of water on the nozzle you should get them on with no effort. As a bonus, they will be pretty tight on there, certainly not coming off in your ears.

My Hippo Grooves (which I got for free for being patient) arrived today. They sound terrible. No bass at all, and hiss like crazy from a Sansa Clip+.
Maybe my good hearing has left me, but I really hope the VBs sound better than these, or I have wasted 80 bucks.
