I bought a pair of nuforce NE-8s a while ago, and the only tips they came with that fit me where the bi-flange ones, but i managed to lose those. Will any tips fit on them, or do i have to buy special ones, and if i do, where can i buy them?

What's the diameter of the nozzle on those IEMs? Around 5mm?

According to the comply tips site, their T-400 tips will fit. I believe that means that the Sony hybrid tips and many others are likely to fit.

why are the t-400s $15, isn't that a bit much for a little bit of foam?

In answer to your question - Standard Business Practice: Charge what the market will bear. Apparently enough people will pay that amount. Heck I bought a pair of nice V-Moda Vibes (Midnight Blue colour) for $15 plus $2 shipping. Came with a dozen ear tips. (BTW, I think these tips will fit your Nuforce earphones). I don't think they are as well respected as the Sony hybrid tips though. http://cgi.ebay.ca/12-V-Moda-Replace...item35aad3124d Steve |

re: the tips Steve mentions. I have both those and the Sony Hybrids. The VModa tips are pretty OK - the material is much thicker than the Sony Hybrids and I get a decent fit/seal. Because of the thicker material, for me, I seem to get ear fatigue a bit quicker using the VModas. Still, nice tips and great price and I am glad I got them - but I simply prefer the Sony Hybrids.
Also, the VModa tips have a much larger sound aperture than the Sonys - I can detect no difference on my IEMS, but others may, so YMMV....

ok so i got the hybrid tips, and they fit. For reference though it seems like they arent gonna fit, you kinda have to force them on, but thats really a plus, because if you get them on, they definitely wont fall off without being purposely removed

Sony Hybrid tips are so epic!
I still need to find someone who couldn't fit them in their IEMs

Actually, I think someone here on ABI was unable to get them on the Hippo VBs. It takes a bit of effort and an angled approach/patience, but the Sonys DO fit on the VBs [and of course, the Panasonic HJE900s].
