Polaroid PMP283C-4 4gb media player with touch screen

I have a Polaroid 4GB media player (model #PMP283C-4) that I got at Christmas. It was working fine out of the box, charging up and everything before I left it alone. But it hasn't been turned on or charged in a while. I charged it for about 5 hours yesterday, with no luck. So then I reset it, and it turns on, but now all I get is a white screen. Is there any way to fix this?

None of us have a Polaroid player,...but if it won't take a charge it most likely is DOA. Leave it overnight to charge,...see if it comes back to life. If not, get a Sansa clip+ or clipzip.

It's charged, but all I get is a white screen. Would rebooting it again help?

Well you could always try. Have you got a decent users manual? If not, have a look online for one. You want to know how to "reset" the player. If you don't have the manual, try holding the power button for 30 seconds or a minute or more.

Otherwise, as TDS already suggested, start shopping for a Sansa Clip+ or Clip Zip.
