help with sony and clarion product PLEASE!

i have recently purchased the sony nwz-x1051.i have uploaded a few cds with wma format and some mp3 as well on to the new unit but when i try to sync the mp3 player with my clarion car stereo i get a "error 2" message which indicates improperly formatted files. i have gone back and converted everything to mp3 format and still i get the same damn message.the stereo deck is listed to play mp3 and wma files so i am completely lost.any help or ideas would be much appreciated.thanks

No idea, but some basic questions spring to mind:
- are you sure the Sony x1051 and your Clarion head unit are compatible?

- how are you connecting the Sony to the Clarion?

And of course, have you contacted Sony? They have free phone support number i believe.

Wish I could be of help... am sure some peeps will chime in...

Is your Sony trying to connect via MTP? Most head units that connect with a simple USB cord will only read MSC DAPs.
