Default How to get Windows Media Player to rip files in the right order?

I finally stopped using Emodio. After two years of it not really working now it doesn't work at all. How could Samsung release something so crappy? I've been trying to use windows media player, but whenever I rip a cd to my P2 it rips the songs in alphabetical order instead of the order they are on the cd. This is really annoying and I don't know how to fix it. If someone could help me I'd really appreciate it.

Most everyone here would say, don't use WMP either.
The most recommended one around here would be http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/ but that one can be intimidating for the first time user. So maybe http://www.bonkenc.org/ might be a better option for you.

Thank you. Do either of the ones you mention support video as well?

They're strictly audio rippers. If you are looking for something to rip DVD's with, someone else would have to help you there....I don't know enough about that yet to give any advice.

@OP: Its old, but I still like it and it does a very good job at ripping music from CDs. A bit less complex than than EAC to setup [not that the EAC setup is brain surgery, but it can be more daunting]...

http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/

CDEx is purely an audio CD Ripper. What are you looking for re: videos? Need to transcode to other formats?

Try possibly:
FormatFactory
Super [google for convert videos]

Both are free and will convert videos to a mulitude of formats. There are of course many others, but these 2 I have experience with. They are fine.
