Hi, I just bought a new 2010 Mazda5 Grand Touring, and want to replace the stock head unit with something kind of all-purpose. It MUST have bluetooth capability and a fantastic navigation system, as well as great sound. DVD and AV out would be great, too.
Also: Ideally, it would be able to display the tags from my Zune HD on the screen including album art. I don't know if any of you are familiar with the Microsoft Sync system, which can find any music using voice commands, but I'd like to be able to use it in a similar way. I'd like, for example, to be able to say, "Play track Love Story" and it would find Taylor Swift's Love Story and begin playing it. Any suggestions? Of course, lower price would be nice too.

This is all I've found so far, and it's really not what I'm after. Anybody tried it? |

Heres the same item but much cheaper from Crutchfield. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113KIV9...KIV-BT900.html http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113KIV7...d-KIV-700.html Two recievers without cd/dvd/navigation. The second one comes without built in bluetooth. An other option is using a zune dock to connect A/V to your cars existing or aftermarket navigation system. But, you would not have the integrated voice controls and you would have to use the zune (or dock remote) to change tracks. If you're feeling really creative, you can modify the zune remote and use it as steering wheel media buttons. Finally, if you're a total geek, you can build a carputer. But, this would totally negate the use of the zune. |
