Audio jack got loose over time

My headphone's jack stays in but need to keep it connected at a certain angle or I get a bad connection and get fuzzy sound or worst...
Anything I could do?

buy a new headphone jack, cut off the current 1 and resolder it. there will at most be 3 wire to solder, + - and ground (some headphone jack doesnt even hav ground).

Where would I buy that?
And wouldn't it void the warranty considering I'd have to open the S9?

I think opelfrost was talking about a headphone plug on your headphones.

Are you sure that its the jack(the port on the S9) instead of the plug on your headphones? If it the jack on the S9 I would say that sending it to cowon would be the best route, even more so if its still under warranty.

If it isn't under warranty and you're experienced with a soldering iron then you could try taking it apart and re-flowing the connections between the jack on the PCB its attached to, but I wouldn't suggest that unless you are very confident with a soldering iron.

It is the S9 jack,tried several headphones and getting the same results.

send it to service center. It seems that connector points inside female jack port are damaged due to taking in and taking out earphones stereo jack ,over a period of time. I do not think that female port has lost contact with PCB but it may be the case.You may not find the female jack that will fit in s9 or you may short circuit ,so, it is better to send it to service center.

i have the exact same problem, after 3 yrs usage . it's really frustrating. I dont want to send it to a service center. The only one i know of in holland is outragous expensive. And the cowon repair center in the UK is probably not that much cheaper considering postage.
