Default Cowon S9 Operating System

What OS does the S9 use?
Is it based on Linux? or is it a unique Cowon OS? or even maybe flash?

I'm betting it's a unique Cowon OS that they use on a lot of their devices. Flash is too high level of a language to be used for an operating system.

The S9 (and most other TCC Cowons) runs an RTOS tailored for its Telechips processor, most likely a version of Nucleus (or possibly VxWorks - can't be too sure going by the firmware dumps). Flash is just the superimposed layer for the S9's user interface.
