You should be happy that they did not use a desktop amplifier with that DAP for a portable gear review .

This is a reviewer you should trust. Gets my seal of approval.

Also, the Hifiman displaying "Turbo Lover" by Judas Priest (an awful case of bad 1980ies hot-treble mastering, due to too much coke in the brain of the mixing/mastering engineer), is rather amusing.

I think lestatar should buy a HiFiMAN and IE7's and do a counterpoint review.

dfkt, IMO Turbo Lover is one of Priest's most embarrassing and horrid songs [but it did have a catchy chorus].... lol

Alright, since its MY thread, let's continue to derail it, especially since that moron with the HyFyMan is, well, a moron...lol Though possibly with decent musical tastes...

Priest was one of my early faves. Halford's voice remains, for me, one of the very best in all of metal. Unleashed In The East remains one of the best live albums ever IMO [right up there with Strangers In The Night, Exit...Stage Left, etc...]

The early Priest stuff is filled with absolute classics. Even British Steel, their most commercially successful album [and generally most reviled by dedicated fans] has some good tunes.

M&M [yes, that IS gonna stick...], so nice to see your music tastes are improving. You too TDS [though the Muse thing puts you still on the line...]

Lestatar, I'm just afraid your true musical tastes are being hidden just below the surface, and I'm starting to worry that on the next B&H trip you'll show up rocking assless chaps. At least warn me you'll be doing a YMCA type move!

And BTW, Muse is quite good, and made 1 mistake. I'd recommend leaving them alone, as it seems you got a lot more "it's raining men" type stuff than most of us. I mean, it's ok to be secure in your manhood, but this is starting to mean so much more.

Say what you want - assless chaps have one huge advantage...easy to scratch your butt and the cooling effect is quite nice...

As for the music cracks, I am all over the map
