As a reminder:
For those of you who might be having a problem with your Clip+ but don't still have your purchase receipt and yet might want to make a warranty claim, you should be covered under the player's original at least 1-year (in the U.S.) warranty even without a receipt until the 1-year anniversary of the player. As best I can tell and recall, SanDisk announced the Clip+ just under a year ago, on August 31, 2009.
If you need warranty assistance, best to telephone SanDisk about it this week, as soon as possible and before August 31.
