Is their a cheaper alternative to the ZHD AV Dock?

Occasionally , I want to connect my Zune HD to my TV, but the Zune HD AV dock is to expensive. I guess my question is, are their any 3rd party cables or docks out there that can perform the same function?

I think I remember someone saying that you can use the v2 dock, but that's not in HD. If you want HD video, I think it's the only option. I think it's very well worth it's value, but I use it a lot.

well you can always buy the V3 charging dock ($50) and get an HDMI cable and you would be good to go. that is, as long as it comes with a remote.

i ponied up and bought the AV dock and use it all the time. it was a great investment IMO and totally worth the $90 price...but i am a baller so what-ev....hahaha

I think only the AV Dock gives you the "10 foot" interface allowing you to not just play content, but basically make a mini media center.

If you have your own USB power supply and HDMI cable, you can buy the "Sync Dock". There are no 3rd party docks that support HD output.

Does the Sync Dock use a standard HDMI cable for the dock's end, or is it a proprietary job?
I really want a dock for my Zune HD to watch content on the TV as well as for music, but the Zune HD AV Dock is far too expensive here (UK)
