Man, no joke - it really is an amazing sounding player that Rockbox makes exceptional.

Beg, borrow, steal one - well, not really the last one....

I actually got offered an iriver h340 for a good price but i am holding out for a toshiba gigabeat f20 or f40 ..what do u guys think i should go for ?. i have a creative zen vision m already but i want a hdd player i can rockbox..

I recall hearing good things about the iRiver stuff. I have no experience with them so I really cannot say.

I suppose it the price is really great on the iRiver, why not grab it? You are probably not gonna find a Gigabeat F series anywhere else except on places like ebay - and of course it is impossible to know when stuff like that will pop up.

As for the iriver h340, I've heard nothing but good about it - especially after it gets RB'd. Go for it.
