Cycling headphones.

Hi there,
I just got myself a rockboxed clip+ and finally got it up and running (see my other topic). But now i got a new problem, im in high school and gotta cycle 30 kilometres every day to go to school. Now my question is what are good headphones for cycling, ofcourse i dont want IEM's because those filter away traffic noise. So my question was what are good headphones for 50 euro's or less which are safe to use. by the way im in the netherlands so alot of paved cycle roads with only other cyclers on there so no cars except really close to school which is the point where i put my mp3 player off just to be safe.

Hmm, try the famous KSC35 clip ons. Open, so traffic noise can get in, cheap, so even if they get damaged you won't be so heartbroken, and very famous for their SQ/price ratio.

well i looked at those before but they look kinda hard to put on.
and i cant find a shop in the netherlands (where i live) that sells them, so if they aren't to hard to put on i would strongly consider them if i could find a shop to buy them. so any suggestions on a shop which is either in or ships to the netherlands?

SR60 isn't exactly safe enough to wear for cycling - they're pretty cumbersome, IMO.

The members are here a spread around the world so it would be a bit tough for one of us to suggest a local shop. It would be helpful if you would let us know what you're seeing locally or places you can order from.

If we are seeing links to the stores or sites your considering it much less of a guessing game. You would also draw increase our knowledge of what's available globally. Give a little, take a little.

i know what you mean il try to get some sites but i didnt mean local stores at all. i meant like global stores that DO deliver in the netherlands because most global stores don't deliver in the netherlands unfortunetly . But i'll try to get a start for you guys so you could help me better thanks again for the comments.
by the way amazon delivers to the netherlands? Or any other global site that delivers to the netherlands is okay to.

im also considering bol.com but it's netherlands only and it doesnt have all the current option i got from you guys

and about the portapro those two kinda square things in the middle (above the actual earpads) don't looks so good in my hounest opinion so i don't really consider those but in fact it's a good option for people who don't really mind about that.

and normal earbuds are okay to just no IEM's besides that everything is a possible option.

The PortaPro's are actually quite comfortable. I do have it, and trust me, they are comfy.

I have yet to really cycle with anything attached though - do remember I'm moderately deaf, so I'd become a safety hazard!

Kidding aside, try Ebay if purchasing directly fails. KSC75s are also about the same as KSC35s.

They're the same as other clip ons - swing the hand open, slide the hand behind your ear like how one wears a spectacles, and errr, close the driver unit? A tad hard to put into words - will try to find a youtube video.

At worse, I'd record my own using a pair of free creative clip ons.

Was some Kodak film cannister before I turned it into a 5 cent coin bank.

I can pay $3 in 5 cent coins - happy counting 60 coins!

Be sure to get the more reputable ebay sellers, though!

True. The KSC35s seem to have some sort of Koss tax now, so perhaps go for the KSC75s.
