crippled Cowon Media Center - JetAudio

Is it me or did Cowon cheap out and bundled a crippled video converter software ( Cowon Media Center - JetAudio basic ) to allow only 30 seconds conversion?
If not, what settings do you use to encode video?

I see a "NOTE: There is no limit to COWON devices"

PS- I know you can just drop bigger sized video and it will play almost anything w/o converting, but I figure you spent hundreds on the player the least they could do was give you software that works.

the software works... but only if you are willing to pay for it.

the basic version won't allow for video conversion but 30 seconds on trial.

so either pay $30 cash, or look for a free converter ;-)
