yeah, pretty much, but having beena tech since the 90's I can tell you, I have seen some nasty stuff in computers and other eletronics, funny part of that, the worst things have seen have been 2 apple products, a "toaster"(cube) and a powermac, the toaster had been peed in by a cat, more then once, a male cat mind you......the power mac had mice living in it and the owner thought it was cute so she had fed and given them stuff to make nests with, then was shocked when the computer stopped working.......(no, im not kidding)

worst/weirdest PC thing i saw was a computer full of apparently used catlitter and that plastic Easter grass.....apparently the person had a litter box just behind her pc and the litter got sucked in by the backwards exhaust fan, same with some cat crap and the Easter grass........(wtf....god some people are discussing)

no, saddly the shop i was working for just had me dump the mice into an aquarium she brought over and clean the system out with some contact cleaner(as in eletrical contact cleaner not the kind for your eyes :P )

we got it working again, but it took fully disassembling the system and cleaning under the board(lots of mouse urin and stuffs) really was nasty, and she was

1. worried that the mice might have gotten hurt

2. upset that it took so long to fix the system

3. mad we charged so much for what amounted to 3 soild days of icky work(the smell was horrible.....if you have ever smelled mouse piss u know what i mean)

I've smelled cat piss which I imagine has a lot of mouse in it....you should have invoked the ban hammer. (aka the "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" policy)

I'd say it's about time for someone to create a random chat thread for "gross/weird/disturbing job experiences"
