J3 with no font after firmware update

i just updated my J3 to 2.10 from 2.03 and i have a problem. i have no font, i can view text on the main menu. on any sub menus i get the full menu layout and it appears to be functional, however i can see nothing.

can i load a older version of the firmware to try and gain back use of the player? where can i find an older version?

turns out when i was updateing it was only loading 2 of the 3 files.

i redownloaded the firmware and deleted some files i had in the root (a .pdf and .php) and it updated fine.
