If anyone knows how to take apart This player
Please help me!!! I don't know how to get down to where the buttons are! |

I'm also having button problems with an E344. Most of the time, the buttons are just unresponsive. I can sometimes unfreeze them by sliding the Hold switch on and off. But then, more often than not, I get the runaway scrolling phenomenon, or the buttons just do things they're obviously not supposed to do, like when the up and down buttons just scroll up.
I've also got two problematic E345's (the 16GB model). The problems are not button-related, but it would still be useful to know how to take them apart. |

Don't do it, as these players are designed to become damaged if attempting to open them. Contact Sony to RMA the device.

Yup, and without it your out of luck. Besides, it's a very inexpensive player - just buy a new 1 to replace it with.
