Default Mediamonkey Tagging Issue
Whenever I tag albums, the last song never has the album art tagged to it so I have to tag it once more to make the album art appear. Does anyone else have this issue? Anybody know how to fix this?

Hmmm, not really. Kinda odd though, but I don't use MMonkey much for tagging truthfully.

Have you tried mp3Tag? Cleaner and easier IMO and I have had zero issues with my ID3 tags for eons...

Sorry, but no. The only times I've ever used it to tag anything were way back when I had my Fuze.....I used the "Auto-Tag from Web" to tag some ogg vorbis albums. I don't even have those files anymore.....I re-ripped everything. I don't remember that particular issue happening to me, but that was a while ago.

I use Media Monkey for tagging sometimes, but I've never had this occur. Sorry to say I don't have a solution for you, but I'll post if I find out what to do.

I haven't had this problem when tagging my files with MediaMonkey (MM). A possible reason is that I mark all of the files I want updated before doing my tag work. Although MM has an option to update the album art for all of an album's tracks when adding the album art to one song from the album, I don't rely on it.

Another thing that might help is to set MM to embed the album art into each song's ID3 tag rather than just saving it to the album's folder. Not only does this ensure that the album art is added to each song, but I've found it the most reliable way to ensure that the album art displays on my player.

when tagging with mp3tag, what ID3 setting is to be used?

ID3v2.3 should work everywhere. ID3v2.4 might give issues with some players, and ID3v1 is antiquated and useless.
