Default New ZuneHD 3rd Party app: Drum Machine HD

Drum Machine HD V1.0



I proudly present my new ZuneHD app Drum Machine HD.

What is Drum Machine HD? Basically its a drumming app. You can arrange and use virtual drums on your touchscreen. Nothing less and nothing more.

Features:
  • 160 sound samples
  • 7 different drum types (kickbass, tom, snare, hihat, crash, ride, misc)
  • automated drumrolls
  • metronome (visual + audio, 40-340 bpm)
  • discolight feature
  • record and playback
  • arrange/resize and customize your drums
  • volume options to adjust song playback volume levels
  • dynamic drumset. Create your own arrangements. No limits other than screensize
  • drum animations (size and color)

Its very good but it suffer's from every single Drum machine of this type. Touch Delay combined with sound lag.
Its hard to keep a straight beat without feeling a stutter works well when slow but when speed up its hard to keep up.

My guess it that it takes a little assembly code and an audio coprocessor to make a great drum app work. Every flash based piano app suffers the same fate. Apple understood this, and it's only on my Touch that musical instruments will work in real time.

No. OpenZdk means C++ with OpenGL ES 2.0. XNA means C# + the MS Framework.

Making an OpenZDK version means rewriting everything from scratch. Why would I do that?

How do you get this app onto the Zune? I unpacked the files and show the manual and program file but don't know where to go from there
