looks pretty legit to me besides the mispelling of "recommended"....discuss

Nice find, that looks legit. Too bad by the time it comes out the refreshed iPod Touch will be right around the corner. Still, good news.

my guess is that it is OpenZDk as MS would kill a developer if he let out a leak...just a guess tho. the pic was posted by a guy in Jersery, dont know if he took the pic, or if he found it somewhere or what.

Personally i've had youtube on my cell(previous one and new one) for the last 3 years and have only ever opened it once(the day i got my new phone - months ago). So I couldnt care either way.
I would say that this is either faked(its really not hard to make a mockup interface in PS, copy it to the device, and display the image), or an open ZDK project. Definitly not(okay, 99% sure) a MS app - they wouldnt be posting a random picture up.
(This is what I replied on the Zune forums.)

Yeah I agree with turdbogls and roguemat. Besides the misspelling of recommended, MS never reveals apps before they release them.If this is a real app, it has to be open ZDK.

YES!!! This is the most exciting thing I have seen so far. If this is real, and will come out in a couple months, then I will be a happy Zune customer! We shouldn't get too excited until Dave is able to confirm this with us (if he is able to give us any info at all, which is unlikely).

After my post on the zune forums, the author contacted me regarding a few things. i cant go into details, but what I can say is...well...just look at the attachment to this post

Haha, but seriously now. This could be photoshopped (I think I could make something roughly similar if I had time) but it does look very real. Netrix from the Zuneboards (he made Doom for the Zune HD) said it didn't look photoshopped. I really hope this isn't a photoshop and an official app.

These are all great (If they're real). Especially the Youtube app. I know I go on and on about caching, but it would be royal awesomeness if you could save a video for later off of Youtube!

i honestly doubt the YouTube app is real, theres no way MS would let something like that leak, and for someone to make that w/ OpenZDK, it would require so much effort, since it would require adding support for a new codec, and i doubt anyone knows how to
