Exam revision procrastination prompted me to do some more Lua.

This is almost done

The UI is not fixed and no, you won't have that much fuel :P So.. any requests for weapons and stuff.. or just any ideas that you would like in the game.

(Koi Pond is still in the works, but it seems to have the functionality i'm aiming for it will have to be written in c++, which I don't know too well, damn lexical scoping :P)

At the moment it's 2 to 5 player, and you can choose the colour of tank (by RGB value). There will be a 1 player mode as well, but I haven't started work on it yet, so it probably won't be in the first release..

can you drive with your tank if not you have to change your power bar because its to easy any shoot is an goal :-)

Nice to see you back in action Bzdbb! I almost thought you had abandoned us for a while there =P But now I see what's been brewing in your end, looks awesome and I'm looking forward to first release!
(And a fair warning to you, as of later this week until August I won't be able to be here as much as I have, so I'm counting on you to keep up with the modding I can't do during that time =P)

i always think of this game to be more of an artillery rather than tanks

different class of artillery for damage, range of projectile for mass damge / precision strike / homing (special powers)

plz read the post before hand before asking questions. The question "when will it be done" has been answered MANY MANY MANY MANY times on multiple threads. the fact is it is hombrew we do it for free and in our spare time we have no idea when we will finish projects. We might have an estimate but there could be a sudden error when we are close to done and have to restart certian parts or we just dont have enough time to work on it.

This project got delayed as I had some problems making the interface smooth and the metagaming aspect (the weapons shop and stuff) and so gave up in fustration. But I've learned a lot the last few months, and shall give it another go I'll post if I make any significant progress..

Please, refrain from asking about release dates. We're spending OUR free time on making these apps, so we work when we can and are inspired. Releases will be irregular and happen when possible.
