Cannot install Content Transfer

when I try install either version 1.1 from the install CD or the downloaded 1.3 version the install gets halfway then stop, rolls back and I get a message saying the install was interupted...?? I'm running windows 7 Prof, does anyone have any ideas as I'm completely stumped, thanks

You don't really need it, do you? I know the lower model Sony players allow you to get by without it....not sure about the X though.

HI Marvin, yip u r right but I wanted to see if it could do anything that Media Go cannot, was just curious, but then I couldn't even install it which is very weird...
