I will not be doing any tests or posting them here, because tests do not prove nothing in this case.

As for you 'uniqueness in buying both S545 and the X do not be so sure, really you are not the only one.

If you want to believe however, that you unique and only you know the truth Iwill definitely not be arguing with you about it.
I didn't claim that I was the only one who purchased both the X and the s545. I actually claimed the opposite. I said others have said that the s545 sounds better than the X (even before I did). That implies they have both (most likely through purchase). It's funny that you go on the opinions of your choice others and not on your own. Why don't you try the s545 and see which one sounds better.
Make me look like a fool, I dare you.

But don't make these silly arguments when you haven't tried the products you are arguing against.

Really? What about the vaunted S-master digital amp? I'm surprised to hear this.

Bro, it's all a myth that the S-Master amp really improves the SQ. My S639 is the perfect size, the volume is louder (even tho BOTH claim 5mw per channel), and all the search and SQ enhancements are A#1 on my S639. And, the 16gb S639 is under $100.00, same can't be said of the 16gb X1060.

I really got the X-1061 for the capacity, and to see if it was all that and a bag of chips. It's great, but a 32gb S63X would have been my MUCH PREFERRED player.

The Sony S639 is still available at Sony Style, and it's $74.99 USD. It's supposed to be a refurb, but another forum member purchased 1 and it's really a brand new player (there's expired coupons inside the packaging, so that's most likely the reason it's listed as a refurb).

If only I didn't already have three players, and not a lot of money......I'd be interested in getting one for the podcast support, which my S545 and E345 don't have. Plus I know it would sound great, like they do.
