Default Advice on buying Style 100

Hi guys, after reading some posts I'm thinking of getting one of the new Style 100 16gb but a few questions please -

1. Does it have an sd slot, I've seen differing reviews some say yes some say no?
2. Is it possible to change the firmware to US? (I'm in the UK and we have European volume restrictions)

Thanks everyone, appreciate your replies.

Definitely no sd slot. I had a 32gb X-Fi Style a month ago which didn't have one either. Not so certain about the firmware question though. In any event, the X-Fi style was a solid player, so the Zen Style will be as well just without the X-Fi, which I didn't use anyway. If you have to have an sd slot, you may need to look at the Sansa Fuze, which probably has better sound quality anyway, just doesn't go beyond 8gb unfortunately.

You probably will benefit from the volume restrictions. There will likely be a whole generation of Americans in 20-30 years going deaf at an early age having grown up first on discmans and then mp3 players, then pmps, then hearing devices.

I know what your saying but I was on the London underground with a Sony E-series I'd just bought and I could barely hear the music above the sound of the train rumbling along, and that was on max volume!
