Default Amazon Review Instant Classic

This review is from: SanDisk Sansa Clip+ 4 GB MP3 Player (Black) (Electronics)
I could not get the player to work nor get the battery to charge.

After e-mailing Sandisk for support, and 4 days of working with their detailed info I finally got the music 'samples' to play.

However, the display window only shows 'music' The menu is not working. Of course I cannot play the FM tuner.

I e-mailed them yesterday and I am waiting for their reply.

Had I bought this from a regular store I would have returned it at the first time of trouble.

I hate this MP3 player not only because its not working properly but I've spent hours and hours trying to get it to work.

My reply:

"Did you peel the protective sticker off the screen?"

In reply to my reply:

"Thank you , thank you, thank you...
Wouldn't it have been 'nice' if this was in the instructions ince it affects how the player works?
Thanks again."

That's so weird, I still have the protective thing on my Cowon. How could that affect anything?!

You would be surprised the number of times this issue has come up and been solved over at the SanDisk boards. Sometimes, it's the smallest thing that trips us up ...

Ha, glad you could help that guy. However this is the reason why calling customer support can sometimes be an eyerolling experience. "Having trouble with my internet connection" "Okay I'd be glad to help, is your computer plugged in?" "WTF?" But obviously there are those who need this kind of help. And as I get older and more out of touch, I'll most likely join this group.
