Noreve has been on a downward slide, it seems. They pulled out of the U.S. I've got their cases for the P2 and P3 so it seems the have "pulled out of" Samsung too.

I just e-mailed Noreve about the possible release of a J3 case 2 days ago, and I got the following message almost immediately:


Dear Sir,

Thank you for your email.

This case is under production. We will launch it in less than 2/3 weeks.

We will inform you as soon as we launch it on-line.

I've got an official Cowon Soft Jelly Case with my order on export.
This case is nearly perfect for the J3.

Soft jelly... Is it like a silicon sticky type case or is it a flexible plasticky type case. In the pic it doesn't look like the dust collecting silicon from the pics

That "jelly-like" case looks interesting. What does the case feel like? smooth, rough, sticky, soft, etc.

I wouldn't use the plastic hard case that you get for free from Jetmall. My son dropped my month old J3 16GB ($239) and shattered the screen. Cowon's gonna charge $154 to replace it. Sux.

Any comments on how any of the cases handle drops? Anyone have the Ringke case?

I don't like the jelly case at all. But I was not a silicone fan either till I ordered a genuine Sony black one for my Walkman E. It's tight, clean, soft to the finger and a joy to handle at the same time. Leather cases you must open everytime you want command your player seem ackward to me with touch screen operations on every modern phone and media player.

May I ask what you don't like about the jelly case? I was about to order one.
I, too, don't like any leather case for the exact reason as yours.

Does the jelly case put on much bulk? Is not not smooth, not soft? Does it collect much dust? Any fit issues?


Also, if anyone is using screen protector, recommendations please?
I've heard from various users that the Cowon screen protector gets scratched too easily, thus not worth it.

Is there any case that could possibly hold a J3 and maybe have a clip of some kind on it? It would be nice if I could basically clip my J3 on a pocket, belt, edge of clothing or on a wrinkle (by pinching the clothing) and be able to press the buttons on wherever it's clipped instead of having to explicitly hold it or put it in my pocket and "dig around" for the buttons. Maybe something like this would do

lol. I just ordered my 16gb j3 from that site and that case comes free with the player now which saved me $25. plus the shipping is free.
