Default I tunes question

Now, please don't trash me yet because of the title. I know very little about mp3 players and I LOVE MY SANSA CLIP+!

My neighbor uses Itunes to convert her recorded books to her silly ipod thingy. Can Itunes be used by us Sansa owners????

Mike, who loves his Sansa Clip+.

Thanks.

You can convert files with it, but it won't sync them to your player (you'd have to drag and drop them yourself).

Ok, thanks. I use CD Ripper Freeware for ripping my discs and it works great for me.

Sorry I mentioned the "I" word here.

LOL...no worries! Lots of folks here have Apple stuff. Just because the site is ABi, doesn't mean we automatically trash Apple stuff....at least not all of us and not all of the time... <wink>

If you like, some alternatives to iTunes and your Clip might be MediaMonkey, Winamp or JRiver, under MTP mode...

See here for an ABi roundup on these and other excellent software music/device management software:

cheers and good luck!

I find nothing as easy and simple and clean as, simple copy & paste/drag & drop.

Absolutely yes.

Just download "Itunes tu Clip", is a free script who helps Sansa Users to transfer a playlist from itunes to the clip, i tried few minutes ago and it works

There are several apps that will create a bridge between iTunes and non-apple players.
For example: http://lifehacker.com/5525668/ituner...=Google+Reader

My thoughts, and usage, exactly. KISS always works. Kinda like point and shoot. Gets the job done.

Thanks
Mike, whose Clip+ is still going strong with daily use since Dec 09
