So, I pretty much need something that costs below 100 bucks, and still has decent sound quality. I would be using them with a zune hd, and I listen to pretty much anything, including techno, rock, metal, pop, whatever. I've pretty much narrowed it down to these two, and I would like it if someone could just help me choose. I've never really had IEMs, except skullcandy ink'd lol =( I would appreciate it if someone could help me. Thanks in advance!

I've heard good things about the Klipsch S4, and not many things about the d-Jays. Didn't test either of them, but the S4 sure get a lot of positive attention while it's pretty quiet around the (much longer available on the market) d-Jays.
My favorite cheap IEM at the moment is without a doubt the Hippo VB, by the way.

Thanks for the reply. Anyway, I typed Hippo VB into google, and I couldn't find any place that sells them. Maybe I'm just stupid, but could you please post a link to some place where I can buy it? Thanks

So the only place that sells these is:
http://jaben.net/shopping/product_in...roducts_id=259 It doesn't seem too good, but I guess I'll just believe you and buy these. I'm just kinda skeptical.... |

This is old post, but I purchased both.
I'm "burning in" (not really) my new d-jays just by playing music for a day or two straight. But right now, the S4's I've been using for a while are of much better quality.. Although, it seems as though the d-JAYS are improving, and that they do provide a bit more "accurate" response than the S4s, while the S4s sounds are crisper, if that makes sense. Maybe it's the difference between a single armature versus a dynamic driver? |
