Default Rewinding rented Videos

So I'm in the midst of downloading a rental of 2012 from the Zune Marketplace because I accidentally bought 500 points when I was only trying to see how much actual money that it would cost me. Strike 1.

I wasn't given the option of getting the PC version or the Zune version. Strike 2.

Now I missed a few lines of dialog and want to rewind... and it wont let me???? Strike 3.

What the hell!

when I saw this title, I thought your were asking if after you watched a rented video, you had to rewind it, like you did in the 90s with vhs. I was about to make fun of you sooooo bad

The reason you can't rewind is probably because that's the way they prevent you from watching it more than once (because it's rented). it's like pay per view...you snooze you lose. you can pause, right? you gotta be sure to do that when you need to go elsewhere. although you don't always know...

Hahah, i vaguely remember that.

Anyway, I found out that once it finished downloading, I was able to rewind as I pleased. Still I find it ridiculous that I can't rent it, watch some of it on my PC and also put it on my Zune HD. I have a feeling that's more the content providers than Microsoft, but it pisses me off nonetheless.

I know! Why people love digital confuses me. You can't jump-rope with a blu-ray.
