Default Cowon IAudio J3

I found some information regarding the J3 that might interest you.

I think it's pretty exciting considering the looks of it and the micro SD feature of the new Cowon MP3 Player.

Looks good, I'm excited. Just wish it used SD rather than micro sd cards. It's taking ages for 32gb Micro sd card to become readily available and I hate to think how much they will cost.

Yeah i agree, it's a bit annoying as well that they've only done a 16GB as their highest model and i have a 30GB Zen Vision M so i want to be getting a MP3 Player with more memory. I think they should be aiming for 16GB to be their lowest model and 64GB as their highest.

There are some video's of the J3 and they aren't very long. However you can see the user interface and how quickly it responds to touch.

I'm a little disappointed that this doesn't have Line-out. Come on Cowon.

lower left then a rubber cover which allows access to the sd card and then the power. The cover swings to the right.

I am very pleased with it. I spent three days of regret because Zune envy. So before I returned it I went and got a Zune, charged and loaded. All was working well, but the Zune didnít feel as good build wise as the J3. After a four hour charge I powered the Z up scrolled and played with the UI it was logical layout snappy and worked fine. Settings made sense and got me where I wanted to be. Humm no speaker oh well. O.K. I plugged in my head sets in and selected a song I quickly ripped my buds off and checked if I had a short or frayed wire. All was good. I went into the ZuneHD setting and adjust the EQs it was still bad. Took my buds of and cleaned them, plugged in and still bad. Perplexed I pulled out the J3 and pow! my ears jumped for joy, The difference is unexplainable.
So yes I like the J3. Oh by the way, you can get the same Zune HD UI on the J3 if you like the way the Z is layed out. You have three Menu UI options, the default one is fun because you can slightly shake the J3 and the icons swing to your rhythm.
J3 is a winner, they just need to be in stores here in the US.

Nice. I really want the Cowon J3 but I'm waiting till it gets an official release in the UK (should be end of April). But i've never owned a Cowon and i heard really positive reviews about Cowon's sound quality. Can't wait till it comes out!
