Firmware version 4.30??

The system info says I'm having version 4.30.
I've understood from reading on theese forums no such version nr is available.
It wont get updated with any of the firmware uppgrades....
Is there a way to get rid of the firmware and load/install a new one?

Are you sure you have an Cowon S9? Where exactly are you going to find that number?

When you first turn on the S9, it'll display the firmware version at the bottom of the screen as the device loads. Otherwise you'll find it under Settings > System > Information.

Firmware 4.xx is a special version for people in Norway. Norwegian DMB seems to work in another way than DMB in Korea, or something else is different (otherwise Norwegian S9s would use FW 3.xx).

Anyway, you can only use 4.xx firmwares on your S9.

I've been in contact with Cowon suport and they couldn't help me!!
How do I get info about updates and so on, do they advertise somewhere?

You have to refresh the site I already mentioned regularly.

Unfortunately there's no other way for you to stay up-to-date.
