Default Separating videos

Hi, I just bought a Zune hd a few days ago and I was wondering if you can separate videos that's already synced to the zune into maybe sections or folders because it's not fun scrolling through tons of videos. Thanks

The short answer is that you can't. The longer answer is you can edit the metadata of your video files to match the categories in the Zune video classes: TV, Video, Music, and Other.

That should make it slightly easier to sort through your videos, although not as easily as if they were in folders.

You also have to make sure your files are .wmvs, not m4vs. Blast!

It would be great to have metadata sorting/editing for other video types in the future, built-in the Zune software.

erythro42, you can classify all video formats playable by the software... not just .wmv. Yes, .m4v/.mp4 H.264... no problem: select the item, and right button mouse click... edit... in the Zune software.

Don't screw with those ancient utilities.

I stand corrected. Your way sounds much easier.

Yeah, that works pretty darn well, thanks for the help. It's a little late, but thanks.
