ZenCount v2.0 is a my first application for the Zen. It is a simple counting app that is more of an introduction to lua then a useful application.

I haven't tried this yet, but next step may be to improve the interface if the code is working flawlessly ^^

One suggestion is to have only one button for "add" and then arrows to control what amount to add, or if you go low enough, subtract.

This one doesnt seem to work on my Zen for some reason. It loads up but nothing happens when I press any of the 4 numbers or press reset.

This happens to me occasionally... the numbers don't appear on the right side of the screen, it's just a blank space.

We need a bit more code than that to identify the problem I believe, couldn't you upload the faulty version to the post asking for help?
It's not very easy to fix a code you can't see.

splash():close();
Closing a function? You don't think this might be the culprit? And a question. You load +.png, -.png, +2.png,-2.png. Are the one with 2 in them the other pair of arrows? If that is the case you don't have to load separate images for them. You can use +.png and -.png twice instead.
