Default Discontinued At Bestbuy?
Just went browsing through the American Bestbuy site and it looks like they have discontinued the X Series Walkman? Can anyone confirm if Bestbuy stores are still carrying this product?

Wouldn't surprise me a bit. It was overpriced compared to any other device that came close in capabilities.

Ahh shoot...was planning to buy this in a couple months down in the states but since Bestbuy doesn't carry them...

Anybody know any American stores that carry the x series other than the Sony store?

Target? idk, i live in Canada. But they never sold the X series in Canada other than the Sony Style stores or online

Not in the UK it wasn't. I've yet to find a better DAP.

I can still get em for $311 (32gb x1061), I have a friend who works at Sony HIGH UP at Sony, and he lets me use his employee discount!

Default X Series in UK
Last Friday I bought a 32Gb X-Series (got fed up with waiting for the mythical A Series), after a lot of searching the Sony Centre in Falkirk had one. The chap there told me Sony were discontinuing the X.

I am starting to think so too - I was in Milan last week and they had the X1060 on sale for about €200......very tempting....

You guys should move to Canada the only Sony PMPS in BestBuy right now in Canada are the E and S series..

The X is better. I've used them back to back. For a little more money, you get much better build quality with the X. The A845 (which I have) is flimsy and hisses a little more. They both sound good, but dear God, anything hissing more than the X and made less well is not worth the asking price.
