All thee point located at the bottom on the screen don't work anymore except the point "arrow". Include the point represent a recycle bin to delete. Now I neither control the file nor delete the file. What's wrong with it ?

Same thing keep happening to my P3.
On average once every 2 months I'll have to get it repaired!! Waiting for the warranty to run out.... ![]() Will never buy another Samsung product again! |

So sad ! How about the warranty ? Is it global or just in a country that you have bought this product. I'm from Vietnam but my P3 is bought in Singapore. I wonder that the Samsung's warranty in Vietnam can fix or not

Reinstall the firmware and see if this corrects the issue.

I have tried to install all the firmware. Begin with the firmware v1.23 and up to v2.2 but it didn't take affect.

Send it in to Samsung, as it's not something user-repairable.

I've had the same problem for over three months now. I really can't bare to send it in because I can't go a day without my music, let alone the 2 weeks+ i would have to wait if I shipped it back to them. If this was an isolated incident I wouldn't be so angry, but since a lot of people are having this problem it makes me really disappointed with Samsung. It's one thing to entirely abandon firmware support, but building a product with faulty hardware is really a let down.

I become maniacal without my music. I can still manage with it so maybe I shouldn't be so critical about Samsung. But sending it in is not an option. not while it still functions anyway *knock on wood*

Can my P3 be guaranteed ? I have bought it in Singapore (Mustafa Centre) but I'm from Vietnam. The form warranty hasn't completed yet. The dealer forgot to fill the Model Name, Seria No. and Date of Purchase. Can I fill all the blank by myself ? Is is possible for my P3 to be guaranteed if I do it ?

well, I don't totally understand what you mean by "guaranteed", but the Model name and serial # are on the back of your P3...
(be to use the correct model name, mine, for ex. is yp-p3jeb/xaa. because Ive have a samsung player in the past, I know that this can be read to mean samsung P3 mp3 player, 16gb, black color. )

my player is black and has 16bg too, but my number is YP-P3 JEB/XEG....
and if they can proof that your player is bought in an other country they can say "NO"... so donīt say them this...

But it's a international warranty , isn't it ? Based on the Serial and Model , can they know my P3 is in warranty period or not ?

honestly, I don't know if samsung know when you bought your P3. I personally don't think they do...

Contact Samsung and see, end of story. The reasoning is that if they don't honor the warranty there's nothing you can do to change it anyways. At least you could try.

I have sent my P3 to Samsung's warranty central. They said that Mp3 weren't allowed to be guaranteed. Mp3 is only repaired in the country that you buy it. So sad Samsung !

I had that problem also. Did you drop or hit the screen in the past by accident?
If you had you better get it fixed as the touch screen can only be replaced and cannot be fixed by yourself but by samsung. |
