Well, it's almost 1,1 TB and i'm glad that i have them in digital form! I remember when i had the half and i couldn't find a place to put all the cds and vinyls...I have sold all the physical items now and i have just one external hard disc (and 2 mirror copies for backup )

Nowadays when i can't find an online record shop with Flac files, i just buy the cd, rip it and then sell it...My only problem is Zune HD .

I was hoping that WP7 would have some kind of flac support but i can't see it in the horizon, so, i'm thinking to return to my old trustworthy (and boring) Sansa Clip and buying an android phone later (android doesn't use a specific program to sync files and there is an app that can play flac files! ).

I think the most impressive behind this collection is the amount of work for "homogeneous" tags and filenames. Every file is almost perfectly categorized and tagged with my specific standards. When i made the first rips i didn't had internet access so i had to write all the info i use by hand...

Zuniq: Im-press-ive....1.1TB of FLAC music? Nice going! Oh and I am exactly as OCD with my ID3 tags as you seem to be - have been for over a decade. Best thing really - I have never encountered any issues with any of my players due to tagging troubles,

A little work beforehand makes my digital music life soooo much easier.

[I even scan all my mp3's for errors and set every file attribute to READONLY as well.]

AudioTesters is a nice, free, clean and very fast drag/drop applet that tests mp3, FLACs, etc for errors in the files.

Foobar2000 has several tools to check (and fix) tracks for inconsistencies as well - and it's actively developed, contrary to AudioTester, which stalled in 2007.

Utilities > Verify Integrity / Fix VBR Header / Rebuild MP3 Stream (the first one for all formats, the latter two only for MP3 files)
