I can't input the Network Key on my PMA430

I am trying to connect to my Home WiFi Internet connection, Sky Broadband. This is a secure connection and so needs a Network Key. I'm sure I've done this before so I wasn't expecting any problems but when I tried to type in the 8 Capitol Letter key provided by Sky the inbuilt virtual keyboard wouldn't respond to most of the characters I was typing. By chance one of the characters was an "F" which did respond with "f", trial and error found that ":" was also accepted with perhaps a couple of others but mostly there was no response. I name files all the time so I know the virtual keyboard works fine in all usual applications but not in this one. I tried both 40 bit and 128 bit options with no difference. I'd appreciate an answer to this as this is a function that I intend to use a lot more.
