14. When you pull the reload thing down, the loading images are on top. seems weird.

heres my experience:
loads app...waits for longer than normal loading time...realizes not much works but it looks cool and thats how MS deals with projects in general. all of a sudden i notice the FSod! (flickering screen of death).

i smell more fodder for FSod conspiracy theorists.

We have been waiting for this long and this is what we get?

Don't get me wrong I love the fact that we get the app finally. But wow FB took a long time.

I really hope the everything just needs to get cached and its not the app.

Theory on why it took so long: Shake to reload, must have taken at least a month to implement

All in all thanks for at least making an app for the ZuneHD facebook. Hope it works.

Jeremy

EDIT: Forgot to mention the flickering screen. Just as bad as the twitter app. Come on MS, you can't blame this one on FB

I noticed the flicker too but now its not annoying me.. as much, it still does a bit. It flickered almost constantly when plugged in to the usb though. It normally only flickers when loading a page.

As it is now, the Zune HD Facebook app is pretty limited compared to accessing m.facebook.com. Since the Zune HD app has corresponding app settings/permissions on the Facebook site, somebody on Facebook's end must fix the permissions/privacy settings so that the app can access other people's information --- same information that an ordinary browser would be able to access. When I tried to access someone's photos it says "There is no content to display or this user has blocked viewing of this content."

The only permissions settings on Facebook for the Zune HD app are
* Access my data even when I'm not using the application* Publish recent activity (one line stories) to my wall

It's the same issue with the Silverlight Facebook client. Not everything on Facebook can be accssed because "The owner of this album has not made it available to this application".

I wonder how it works on the iPod Touch.

I think that zune communities like this 1 should be beta testing these apps b4 they are release, within a couple of hours we find a bunch of stuff.

interesting, that explains a lot! hopefully facebook doesn't take another month to fix it!!
would be cool if an update for twitter comes out with the "shake" to refresh implemented

This is a relief for me, since the things that I was looking for (attractiveness, usability, speed) are all here; the absence of content seems to be a problem with Facebook itself, not the app.
All in all, I can't wait until this starts working properly. I wish there was chat though.

Seems the servers it is working with are being over loaded.

17. When posting on a friends wall, it doesn't leave anything on your own wall (Me wrote on Friend's Wall.)

LOL, figures. Thank you MS for sticking with Matchbox. Guys, all hope is not lost. Matchbox is a good company. They are the ones behind Facebook for WinMo 6.x and now WinPho7.

http://www.matchboxmobile.com/compan...ebook-client-2

Dave, Matchbox should be more careful with their PR releases. They gave away the Facebook App for ZuneHD on Feb 26th. :-\ (not the actual app, but that they were the ones behind it)

I had the app crash and restart the zune as well. Can't remember what was going on at the time though...

Okay, now that Facebook's out of the way (in pieces, at least), we can get to the "really cool stuff"...right?

No crash or flicker but not much working...

Also if your music is NOT in the marketplace when you hit the zune logo. It wont post on facebook.
