Heads up, Buy.com has them again for $14.99, not that all are v1's, but the one's I got were and it's possible that these are as well.

Getting one there would be great for battery-replacement, just in case. Or is there another way to put your fingers on a replacement battery?

No other way that I know of, unless you can find one cheaper on ebay, but still at that price it sure seems worth it. BTW I've had good luck with refurbs, no problems.

Just in case, an iPod Nano battery should fit inside. Those are easy to find. Just needs to be soldered in.

From which generation iPod nano? And I would just add that for the general user, soldering is not to be taken lightly.

Doesnt seem like a good price...I picked up a 2gb clip refurb on W00T for $12.99 +$5 SH..
and an 8gb for $32+$5..

Some are willing to pay the higher price per GB for the strong possibility that it's a V1 model. Those can be Rockboxed. To me the way that Rockbox unleashes the potential of a player is well worth the trade off in capacity.

I made a deal with my brother. He ordered me one of these. He gets my 8 GB Clip in exchange for this one when it comes in. I won't be able to carry as many tunes but if I can listen to them on a Rockboxed player I figure I'll come out way ahead.
