In line-in mode it sure doesn't make the input signal of a good source like the Clip+ worse (except crosstalk, which could be improved), in USB mode it doesn't sound so good.

Looks great used line-in, these low cost units often lack a quality DAC. Acceptable as cost is low. Used with a great sounding DAP this will not be a real issue.
