Attached is a simple application to compute how much your restaurant bill will be when you add a tip, and optionally divide the total between several parties.

Version 1.0

Known Issues : None.

Useage:

Enter the amount of the bill then press 'Done'
Enter the tip (the new total will be displayed), when you are happy press 'Done'
Enter the numer of ways to split the bill and press 'Done'

Your share of the bill is displayed. Now run for the exit

This can be done via the regular calculator, but this way is much faster and you don't have to think as much =P, I can definitely see this being useful. When you split the bill you just divide it by the number of people, right?

In a later version (if ever), you could perhaps add a function allowing for unequal splits. Not sure myself how that would work, I don't usually split bills =P But maybe that someone enter how much they will pay, then the next person and so on, and it calculates how much is left to dig out of your pockets to complete the payment. Just a thought.
