Where do I update the players firmware and/or the samsung media studio
I cannot transfer files normally, I do not see files on the media studio, and the player has been freezing quite often. I'm getting annoyed, and need to fix it asap. Thanks |

anyone know?
I think i'm going to just go ahead and return this thing. It looks nice but too much to deal with it within 1 week. I mean it freezes on me everytime I unplug it from the USB and restarting it can't be good for the thing. |

You update firmware by downloading from Samsung.com, but there isn't a new version that fixes anything yet.
Media Studio has a menu option to download updates. That may or may not fix your problem. Your best bet is to plug in the player, delete it from the Windows hardware manager, unplug it, reboot, and plug it back in. If that doesn't work, you may have MTP issues on your PC. It's probably not worth the trouble if you're not Windows savvy. Only thing is a lot of players are using MTP now. They may or may not have a better implementation of MTP than Samsung. |

I just upgraded the firmware. I am hoping this makes a differnce because for some reason when I am using this player,
I'll switch to a track and all of a sudden the thing will turn off and reboot. I don't think thats normal, so what exactly did the firmware do? Also, is there a case for this player? |
