I have a skin, and I think it's kinda cheap honestly, but it protects it well so I am happy. Plus, I got it for 99 cents on amazon

DecalGirl has alot of really cool skins for alot of devices, including the Zune HD. and they are very high quality.

Very cool. How difficult is it to apply those skins? I imagine it would be simple, but I have never used a skin kit before.

I got a Zune HD , incipio silicone case and a decal girl skin kit imported to India .The decal girl skin is a little difficult to apply alone,if you have an extra pair of hands to help you, then it shouldnt be very difficult.i tried it alone and ended up wrinkling the skin just a tad bit.It looks great on the Zune hd,will try and post some pictures of the same

Like nightmareweaver said, they are a bit difficult to get perfectly centered and such by yourself.
But, you can google "applying decals with soapy water" and theres guides on how to apply decals with soapy water. I guess many people use this method to get things perfectly centered.

Although, im not 100% certain it will work with the decalgirl skins, but im guessing it would work just fine.

May family has bought many skins from them, and ive helped my brother apply them, and weve gotten them 99% perfectly on. haha we just needed to be patient.

I not tried the soapy water method though. But when i do get my skin in, im gonna see how it goes

Hi i am new to this forum so hi everyone.
I was wondering does the decalgirl skin come off without leaving residue or you have to keep it on permanently.

It comes off easily ,no stickiness and you can reapply it,provided you do not stretch the skin while removing

This isn't exactly a cover but it's like.. a skin decal at skinit.com and I bought a customized one. The designs they have there are really cool but then you can make you own which is even better. But if you're looking for a protective cover then this isn't what you're looking for.

For a nice design to stick on your zune i would recommend www.skinit.com Their designs I would say are just as good or a lot better than decalgirl imo.

Probably the best site to decorate any mp3 player, phone, or laptop. It's a bit pricey but you can even make you own! Their own selection is pretty nifty already. However, it's not much for protection. If you're looking for protection get a bodyguardz or something. Those rock

oh btw the skinits dont leave any residue.

Does any kind of plastic (the stuff similar to lamination... The stuff you stick on the screen) screen protector work? Is there any kind that'll mess with the touch functionality?
