I'm hoping it's more that they want to seriously hear what we want on the device before they make their next move. My next project for my car is rigging together a dock and LCD to have the kick-ass TV-out interface and choosing my own background to go with each artist would be great as some pictures are either pixelated or positioned poorly when using the video output.

Interesting question. This is what would bring most satisfaction for users.

1.- Flash Player (so you can stream videos from either Youtube, Veoh, MySpace video/audio player) I use it a lot to stream music/anime, ... Neither iphone nor iBad have it and everyone wants it.

2.- Email app. If we are talking about an email app the player should be able to connect to any type of wireless connection (such as pass protected wi-fi spots -like at University, McDonalds, etc- which we are currently unable to connect to-)

3.- Great 3D games: We have to see the potential of this baby. It would bring attention from developers, and gamers. The player has the amazing OLED screen to show some fancy graphs, colorful games. I wanted a pinball game from the start, and I definitely want one, but that keeps being another "common game" that wouldn't bring much attention from developers.

Hope this gets somewhere.

Now, if you'll excuse me I will be getting back to my plan of conquering the Universe.

I'd like to start off by saying a lot of people are asking for apps that are already created (as 3rd party apps). Such as Znotes for a notepad, Zune HD Stopwatch, and Book Reader HD. Each are quite good too, I might add.

Now for my top 3 apps:

1) Calendar/Scheduler (Altough I think this would work best if part of the firmware, instead of an app, not sure if we could get the much needed reminders and alarms working if it's through an application)

2) Dictionary/Thesaurus

3) Youtube app

No I don't think apps that restart your zune every time you exit them count, let alone not even on the zune marketplace =/ which is microsoft's fault in not realsing a offical SDK.

Number 1 is a must have because all the phones has Windows Live Messenger but not the Zune HD. as you know Windows Live Messenger support MSN plus you can chat with friends who are in your list who has Yahoo & AOL which to me is very important then Youtube app.

Sounds like more firmware stuff, so ya never know whats coming spring. Hopefully they fix enough stuff.

2. Skype with hardware that would connect into bottom connection which would add microphone and webcam capability. The hardware sold would help pay for development of app.

Alot of people probably dont want to want to install all that crap on their comps, including me. I did and something went wrong then I had to reinstall the firmware (I thought I lost evrything that was on my Zune
