Is file limit an issue with RockBox?

Hey guys, i'm ready to pull the trigger. Is the file limit still an issue now that the RockBox runs on the D2? I read an answer on the cowon forums but the answer was a bit vauge.

The only thing stopping me from getting a D2 is because I have around 9,300 that I want to put on the player. Would I still be able to browse by ID tag with that much files and still use Coconuts "cover flow" theme?
