I have these ,but i do not know if they are still available anywhere
the one with the built in speakers has decent sound if you use it for a medium sized room http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ef=oss_product http://www.amazon.com/Altec-Lansing-...173298&sr=1-23 |

I also have the Altec Lansing iM413. I agree that it's a pretty good player for a small to medium sized room. The fidelity isn't the greatest, but it is convenient and does an OK job. Best use is in the bedroom or kitchen.
They seem to be difficult to find. Amazon has a used one for $269 and you can occasionally bid on one in eBay. Original price was $99. I'd say market value now is around $150. I have two, but wasn't allowed to sell my extra one in the other forum (Sansa). Good luck in finding it. ggin1 |

ggin,
I also use the Altec Lansing iM413, very good unit. Why not sell your extra one here? http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum/vbclassified.php |

I also have a sansa player. Are there no options besides the discontinued Altec Lansing iM413? Is there a way to hook up a Fuze to another docking station to use the speakers - headphone wire or something?

It's ridiculous that there are only a small handful of docks in existence that are compatible with the Sansa Fuze. While doing my research, there are a lot that DID exist, but amazon isn't selling them anymore, and it doesn't look like SanDisk is either. Should I really have to go on an invisible goose chase for a dock that works with my player?
Is the whole ipod thing just going to take everything over!? What happened to no monopolies..? |
