Update:

So far, very nice. Love the look, bravo to the graphic design. And I like the method of opening a drawer to get to the volume and such. And that process of pressing an icon long enough to have it change modes is very cool. And the widgets are interesting. And I like the keyboard, though the keys on the lower corners are tough.

Regarding install, very easy. One small thing, is the icons.zip creates an \icons folder, and d.touch.zip creates a \dtouch_icons folder. So is their path supposed to be dtouch_icons\icons ? Also, a PSD was included, was that deliberate?

The icons have to be in "dtouch_icons". Sorry if the folder is disturbing, I mostly download/extract from "My docs" before moving to the S9, that's why I put them in a folder

it looks nice, but basic things (like going back to the home-screen/mainmenu) are slow. you have to wait... and that's annoying as hell.
I'm sure it can be fixed somehow. except for that the ui is alright

is there a kind of wallpaperpack for the UCI? Because it would be really themed if you could set your music screen and so on in the same style. Further the rest, really nice UCI!

I'm not sure of what you'd say... are you talking about a music UI with the dtouch style or just a wallp ?

@pete_XCI : if there's widgets on your desktop, it's normal to be slower as it consumes more performance... however we know that the dtouch is slow and we try to optimize it

Very tasteful and clean UI, Monsieur - thanks for sharing. It looks much more professional than Cowon's stock UI, especially the childish 2.50 mainmenus.

What's the best size for a wallpaper? I assume 480 x (272 x 5)? Or less than 272 x 5, since the background slides less than the content?

Also, how do I switch UCIs (mainmenu1, mainmenu2, etc)? (Nevermind, found it - play/pause button.)

The default size is 436*480 but it can be larger since you can place it as you wish

To switch UCIs, as said in the notice, you have to press the play hard button and tap on "switch UCI". By default, it goes to the mainmenu 2 but on the next release we'll allow to choose

Only available for the home screen. When you are on the wallpaper or program screen, you have to press the play hard button to show the context menu

- auto-complete
The auto-complete feature is available when you're entering the name of the file for the "flash browser" and "playlist" launch modes, or when you're entering the label for the "icon replacement" launch mode, or when you're entering the name of the wallpaper (sub-folders aren't recognized). Tap the first letter (or a few ones if you have some .swf files with the same first letter), then press the "enter" keypad. Normally, it will completed with the whole name of the file

UCI should be backwards compatible, but the multitouch on the J3 won't be in this UCI already and i think the mapping for the hardwarekeys are different as well.. When people get the J3, things will be more clear, right now you can't know sure.

is there a way for the events thing to work? i am using the UCI, and when i click on the events tab, it says feature not available

If i remember well, swapping down from the top opens the menu to change the theme (otherwards swiping up from the bottom)
