good ideas! another great app for the x-fi2 would be an implementation of the ScummVM! the c++ source is avaible online so i think it wont be so hard to translate it in x-fi2 LUA. I'd love to play monkey island on my creative

I don't think that's possible unless we find the boot sector and overwrite it. Overall it's a nice idea to present your thoughts / ideas for more apps. Maybe I'm gonna realize some of them (in the next few month? I really don't write programs for that player too often
)A kind of notepad would be cool indeed, since it would enable us to write apps while we're on the move  ~ZaP

I found a site with a ton of PSP lua games. Maybe the lua code could be modified to run on the xfi2

i think the most logical choice would be the first ever video game...pong

The accelerometer is sensitive enough and has x,y,z axis. We just have to wait for the SDK which comes out soon.

i see that pong is in alpha state thanks to bzbbb, so atari games are a go for the xfi2.
the next step i think would be missile command. it's a great atari game where you protect your cities from russian missiles (or terrorist missiles, if you will). when you lose all your cities, the world falls into a decade of nuclear winter, everyone is dead, the end. heres the full description: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Missile_Command heres a glide version of it: http://www.cc.gatech.edu/~carlson/pe...e_command.html it is also presently available for the iFags as an app. if you google around, you can find the torrent for it.

Could someone try to make a breakout style game, like the one found on the Blackberry... I might have a go at making it myself when the SDK comes out, but if somone could make one in the mean time that would be awesome :P

I'd definitely be interested in a note-taking app.
Other than that maybe the "Winterbells" game? Though from what I can deduce from the lagging in Pong by touching the screen all the time it might be hard to get it responsive enough.
