Albums are broken after firmware update
For the past year or so I have been the proud owner of a 4GB YP-P2JABY/XAA. I recently changed the firmware from MTP 5.10 to 5.08 KR so I could get the dictionary and not deal with crappy MTP. Only one problem, in the midst of all the firmware upgrades and downgrades, the album folder got wiped, and now it doesn't form albums anymore. All my ablums are in weird track orders and album art is almost non existent. I have always had trouble with the correct album art sticking to the right album through lots of library updates, but now I have no albums. Is that something about the firmware? Or should there be a system folder in the album folder?
Whatever the problem, how do I fix it? thanks. UPDATE: I suspect it may have something to do with not liking WMA files as many .mp3 files have album art, but many .mp3's do not either....I might be wrong.... Last edited by MiddleEarthMouse; 01-12-2010 at 09:45 PM.
